£60 New Patient Exam - Your First Visit at Wigmore Smiles – What’s Included
Our new patient exam isn’t just a check-up — it’s the start of your best smile yet!
Here’s what happens:
2. A Full 3D iTero Scan
-
You will be given a full 3D iTero Scan that will provide digital images of your teeth
-
You’ll get to see a 3D image of your own teeth and gums in real time
-
This makes it easier for you to understand what’s happening in your mouth and gives you a clear picture of your dental health from day one
-
The scan gives our dentist a precise and detailed map of your teeth, which means we can spot issues earlier, explain your treatment options clearly, and plan more accurately
1. A Warm Welcome & Chat
-
We start by understanding your dental history, your concerns, and what you’d like from your smile
3. A Dental Evaluation
-
Our dentist examines your teeth, gums, and bite to make sure everything is healthy
-
Examines the health of your teeth and previous restorative dental work
-
Checks for tooth decay and signs of tooth decay
4. Intraoral Camera
-
Examines the inside of your mouth to the hard to see places
-
Gives us a closer look at areas x-rays can't see, like sneaky cavities or cracks
5. Digital X-rays
-
Detects tooth decay, bone loss
-
Cavities, and other dental issues
6. Inspect for Gum Disease
-
Evaluates the health of your gums
-
Looks for signs of periodontal diseases and gum recession
7. Occlusal Exam
-
An occlusal exam helps to evaluate the bite and alignment of the upper and lower teeth
-
The exam can reveal any issues related to occlusion, such as bruxism (tooth grinding), temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain and uneven wear on the teeth
-
Provide a basis for creating a treatment plan to address these problems.
